The Senior Analyst will play a lead role with company initiatives supporting Interconnect expense management, and will be accountable for the accuracy of the core dataset.  The analyst will serve as a liaison between internal customers and Access Data Integrity to ensure existing data is accurate and addresses current needs.  Given the position’s support of broader company initiatives, the analyst will need to maintain a thorough understanding of the financial implications of the data with respect to significant on-going expense mitigation projects.

Main Responsibilities:

• Audit the circuit expense dataset to identify potential inaccuracies.

• Assess overall impact and scope of data inaccuracies/inconsistencies, and resolve discrepancies.

• Evaluate the positive and negative impact of potential changes meant to improve data accuracy and process efficiencies.

• Identify consistent issues, determine root cause, and recommend potential solutions.

• Support cost savings goals and initiatives through data research/analysis and large opportunity evaluation.

• Always be mindful of the bigger picture and evaluate how identified issues might lead to bigger opportunities for data cleanup and cost savings.

• Create and maintain financial models of project opportunities.

• Provide support of related recurring monthly reports, as well as ad hoc reporting and data analysis.

The ideal candidate will possess the following:

• Strong business acumen with exceptional data analysis skills.

• Advanced experience with MS Office, specifically Excel for data analysis and modeling, and with Power Point.

• Oracle database experience, including modifying/writing SQL queries.

• Experience working across multiple work groups to understand existing processes and issues, and influence necessary change.

• Extreme inquisitiveness, and the ability and desire to parse through symptoms to identify root cause and resolution realization.

• Proven ability to self-manage, as well as manage processes and projects from inception to implementation. 

• Ability to thrive in a fast paced and changing environment.

• Proven ability to expose process gaps based on research findings, identify potential solutions and work with appropriate stakeholders to implement change. 

• A distinct knowledge of and experience with Interconnect provisioning and customer billing processes.

• Experience with Metasolv applications including M5, M6, and NextGen.  Billing systems including RC7, RC8, Aptis, and CAMS.  And a thorough understanding of the relationship with access expense.



Job Requirements

Minimum Requirements:

College degree and 3-5 years professional level experience with 1+ years supervisory experience for roles with supervision; or 7+ years professional level related experience with 1+ years supervisory experience for roles with supervision; or an equivalent combination of education and professional level related experience required.
