Our Culture

Our Culture

Our Cultural Beliefs influence the way we work and do business at Windstream.

The best-in-class customer experience we are able to provide through our network and our people is accomplished because of our strong cultural beliefs and values of Accountability, Collaboration, Agility and Respect. Our cultural beliefs influence everything we do at WIN.

  • People Powered - invest in, develop and recognize excellence in myself, my team and others.
  • Build Bridges - I reach out across teams with an open mind and respect for others’ opinions to achieve our key results.

Our Community

Believe it or not, it’s not just about us.

Yes a lot of focus is given to how awesome our people are, but we also work hard to positively affect the community around us. Windstream has a long-standing relationship with Make a Wish Foundation, Susan G Komen, The Pack Shack, Junior Achievement and many local non-profits. The team at Windstream is encouraged to get involved and to give back to our communities.

Diversity commitment image

Commitment to Diversity

Diversity in employment is a goal and a source of strength for Windstream. While nondiscrimination, equal employment opportunity and affirmative action in personnel practices have a basis in legal mandates, valuing diversity is a broader concept evolving from these principles. Valuing diversity involves understanding, accepting and appreciating that individuals are different and that this diversity is a societal and organizational advantage. Achieving and maintaining diversity in Windstream's workforce makes good business sense. As such, the Company will continue its effort to strengthen its organizational commitment to foster an environment in which diversity is understood and valued, and to achieve diversity in its workforce.
