This position will serve as the Network Subpoena Compliance Administrator within a fast-paced Network Security Operation Center at a major telecommunications carrier.  The successful candidate should possess a proven background in a detail oriented legal/technical field with an emphasis on oral and written communication skills.  A strong working knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Word and Adobe, as well as Windstream’s internal systems is desirable.  The ability to work directly with Law enforcement and attorneys with discretion is required as well as a general knowledge of privacy laws.


  • Monitor the CT Corp web portal to acknowledge receipt of subpoenas and enter them into the Subpoena Management System
  • Review and respond to subpoenas received according to Court Orders and Windstream policies.  Interact with Law Enforcement Agencies (LEA), Windstream customers, Windstream legal and outside counsel
  • Review all subpoena legislation, keep current on compliance requirements and best practices, as determined with the assistance of Windstream’s Legal Department
  • Create requests to generate invoices for subpoena related fees in the MARS billing system
  • Contribute to the development of written procedures and documentation
  • Available and willing to be in a 24x7x365 on-call rotation
  • Serve as a back-up resource for Abuse Response personnel
  • Other duties as assigned
  • Knowledge of IP networking and telephony fundamentals is required
  • Experience working with Law Enforcement, courts, attorneys, contracts, or general legal knowledge
  • General knowledge of privacy laws – CPNI, HIPPA, etc.
  • Proficient at working with Microsoft Excel, Word and Adobe Acrobat Pro
  • Experience working with Windstream’s systems” WINCARE, ISPP, M-tools, AAA, SIS is helpful
  • Experience working with the public/customer service
  • Exceptional ability to multitask and attention to detail.
  • Related telephony or network operations experience 
  • Able to obtain SECRET security clearance after 6 months of employment

Job Requirements

Minimum Requirements:  

Associate Degree in a technical discipline and 3-4 years technical/telephony experience with 3+ years directly related to the job; or 6+ years of directly related telephony or network operations experience and/or an equivalent combination.
