About the Role:
The Data Translations Specialist II is responsible for building, configuring, modifying and/or removing data translations based on comprehension of all order types and applicable workflow. In addition, this position may be required to provide training/job shadowing to new/novice associate and participate in process and procedure improvement initiatives. This position is specifically intended for recruiting candidates proficient in data translations on the heritage WIN and various CLEC networks, provisioned out of the BPMS/ASAP and M6/NGMSS provisioning systems.
What You'll Do:
- Verify requested order/service activity, ensuring all network components are built/configured appropriately. This may include installation of new services, moves/changes to existing, and/or disconnection of service.
- Effectively collaborate with internal teams to resolve order/record discrepancies and other work flow disruptions
- When disconnecting services, ensure all network components are removed/released timely
- Ensure detail notes are placed within the order, in accordance with department procedure
- Perform other duties as needed and/or assigned
Do You Have?
- Understanding of Circuit Design and DACs/Multiplexing Transport equipment
- Advanced build knowledge of applicable network switches, equipment and/or devices, including Juniper, Cisco, Adtran and Actellis
- Intermediate troubleshooting knowledge of applicable switches, equipment and/or devices, including NIDs, Hatteras, Cisco and Velo
- Working knowledge of provisioning system(s) and applicable workflow(s)
- Understanding of Windstream equipment from the core elements to the point of customer termination in either co-location areas or switch sites.

Minimum Requirements:
