This position is perfect for an individual with lots of energy and desire to learn in a very challenging, fast-paced work environment.  Candidates must possess strong written and verbal communication skills, and high analytical skills.  Candidates will be using Microsoft Office products and should possess intermediate user level skill with Excel and Word. Other Windstream tools include:  GIS mapping software, SIS Change Management application, and Video Inspection application (Talonview).

This position is responsible for the following duties including, but not limited to:  

  • Coordinating and preparation of change management documentation and scheduling of MOP maintenance windows in Windstream’s SIS change management application
  • Auditing OSP job closeout package and perform 3rd party contractor invoice reconciliation against as built documents
  • Utilize Windstream Video Inspection Tool to verify/inspect quality of Outside Plant Implementation by 3rd party contractors
  • Other OSP Organization support activities as assigned. 

The analyst must be able to provide accurate, timely, and concise updates both verbally and written. 

The Analyst must be able to provide timely and accurate data in written format for recurring and ad-hoc reporting. 

The position requires the ability to remain focused and multi-task in a fast-paced environment, performing required duties within specified timelines. 

The Analyst will be required to analyze data and provide recommendations on appropriate courses of action. 

The Analyst will be detail-oriented and self-motivated.   

The Analyst will apply known standards and guidelines to unusual or nonrecurring events, analyze problems, issues and information to formulate conclusions and recommendations. 

Knowledge of, and strong aptitude in outside plant construction is required. 

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are essential; as the position will be required to communicate daily with multiple levels of authority within, and outside of the organization. 

The job will require extensive involvement and coordination with internal OSP Construction Management, Windstream Accounts Payable, Windstream Change Management NOC, Windstream Contractors, as well as internal departments such as Outside Plant Engineering and Network Engineering.

Job Requirements

Minimum Requirements: 
College degree and 2-4 years professional level experience; or 6 years professional level related experience; or an equivalent combination of education and professional level related experience required.
