Sr. Trainer

A dynamic, innovative educator to deliver Windstream product, system and sales process training using a variety of training approaches including face to face and webinar delivery for our Enterprise Sales organization. Additionally, this person will be responsible for suggesting, developing and implementing new training approaches as well as identifying/resolving training gaps.

Duties include:

New Hire training:

Deliver and maintain the Sales New Hire training which includes product, system and process information. A blended training approach is used to deliver this information.

Product and Process Support:
Provide training as needed on new product/process launches as well as providing product and sales process refreshers. Communicate new launch information effectively to all supported channels.

Training Liaison:
Build Bridges with assigned channel’s leadership to ensure training is aligned with the business. Conduct needs analysis meetings to identify learning opportunities and raise issues as applicable to training management for resolution and action.

Content Development:

Assist in identifying and creating/maintaining training courses. This includes, but is not limited to, suggesting new projects, acting as a subject matter expert, reviewing/approving developed training materials and developing and maintaining training materials for assigned program.

Minimum Requirements:

•Sales process training experience

•Strong verbal, written and interpersonal skills

•Self motivated, energetic and engaging

•Excellent coaching skills

•Skilled in breaking concepts/tasks into components and relating this information

•Capable of creating and conducting training using adult learning concepts

•Determine actual versus stated needs when Training requests are made

•Ability to develop, facilitate and adapt presentations

•Intermediate skill level in the use of Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook

•Attention to detail and ability to take ownership and accountability for assigned tasks

•Ability to manage multiple priorities

•Conduct productive meetings

•Willingness to comply with all Windstream policies and procedures

•Ability to travel up to 25%

•Ability to work flexible work hours

Job Requirements

Minimum Requirements:  College degree and 3-5 years professional level experience with 1+ year supervisory experience for supervisory roles; or 7+ years professional level related experience with 1+ year supervisory experience for supervisory roles; or an equivalent combination of education and professional level related experience required.
