This role will serve as a primary data and analytics support within the Access Financial Operations and Dispute management teams, enabling quick, efficient consumption for recurring data needs, and providing data mining support for ad hoc audits or reports.  The position will play a pivotal role in achieving, recognizing and presenting actual impact against broader organizational financial targets. 

Responsibilities of this position include:
  • Create and manage process driven monthly cost activity, including integration of data/sources from acquired companies into existing processes, matching disposition, project identification and status, and period over period changes.
  • Create and manage daily/weekly/monthly circuit audit opportunity and WIP datasets and reporting for stranded expense and customer requested disconnects.
  • Develop BI solutions across the organization to improve visibility and efficiency of the operations teams.
  • Identify areas for improved execution through automation, where possible, or improved data management and/or reduced data processing times.
  • Serve as liaison between the business users and IT and/or the organizational BI teams as necessary regarding data discover and availability, database support, and productionalization of key processes.
  • Support complex data mining requests, while also enabling business user self-service of simple and/or recurring data needs.
  • Coordinate with IT Business Intelligence, Enterprise and Access data management teams, and Revenue Assurance on improved expense-revenue correlation logic to improve margin management abilities.
  • Extensive research of assumed issues, cost reduction opportunities, or unexpected cost drivers to confirm the issue/opportunity, define the impact and communicate opportunities to appropriate teams within the organization.

Job Requirements

Desired Qualifications:  

College degree and 8+ years professional level experience with 3-4 years supervisory experience; or 12+ years professional level related experience with 3-4 years supervisory experience; or an equivalent combination of education and professional level related experience desired.

Preferred Skills and Background
  • Bachelor degree in MIS, Math, Statistics, Economics or other data management/analytic related degree.
  • Strong SQL with experience normalizing data sources.
  • Experience creating reports/dashboards in Tableau.
  • Extensive experience data mining across large disparate data sets.
  • Ability to convert business owner rules/needs into usable output.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills to effectively prioritize multiple projects
