Job Summary:  

This role will serve as a primary contact for analysis support within the Revenue Operations Team. Enabling quick and efficient business intelligence for both ad-hoc and recurring strategic analysis needs.  The position will play a pivotal role in achieving, recognizing and presenting actual impact against broader organizational financial targets. 

Responsibilities of this position include:

  • Create and manage ad-hoc and recurring financial analysis to support the strategic direction of the Enterprise Business Unit.
  • Create and manage financial reporting through data visualization.
  • Translate large data analysis into consumable summary analysis.
  • Identify areas for improved operation through joint data analysis and analytics.
  • Serve as liaison between Finance and the organizational BI team as necessary regarding data discover and availability, database support, and productionalization of key processes.
  • Serve as financial subject matter expert on complex data mining and/or analytical projects or requests.
  • Coordinate with Enterprise Business Intelligence, Accounting and Access Data and Financial management teams, on improved expense-revenue correlation logic to improve margin management abilities.
  • Extensive research of assumed issues, margin improving opportunities, or unexpected margin drivers to confirm the issue/opportunity, define the impact and communicate opportunities to appropriate teams within the organization.

Preferred Skills and Background

  • Bachelor degree in Accounting, Finance, or other business related degree.
  • Deep understanding of financial analysis techniques and methodologies.
  • Deep understanding of accounting procedures and processes.
  • Experience creating simple SQL queries for data extraction
  • Experience creating reports/dashboards in Tableau.
  • Extensive experience data mining across large disparate data sets.
  • Ability to translate business rules to IT and Business Intelligence.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills to effectively prioritize multiple projects.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with senior leadership.


Job Requirements

Minimum Requirements:College degree and 8 years professional level experience with 3-4 years supervisory experience; or 12 years professional level related experience with 3-4 years supervisory experience; or an equivalent combination of education and professional level related experience desired.
