General Summary:

This position has the responsibility for managing the performance of outsource/off-shore vendor performance for Windstream’s Enterprise Service Assurance team. The individual must have the capability to lead project teams through a discovery process in finding the best business solutions as well as have a high level of negotiation skills to maximize value for Windstream. The primary focus will be on service assurance. 

This role will serve as one of the key contacts and Company liaisons between Windstream Operations and the outsourcing/offshoring vendors under assigned Global or Master Agreements:

  • Identifies potential problem areas and drives resolution on all issues relating to delivery of service or suppliers’ performance under Global Agreements. Issues may include but are not limited to quality, delivery, price and overall effectiveness to achieve the highest level of value possible for the company.
  • Solicits suppliers’ input to help identify elements of cost, delivery or performance, including any external factors that drive total cost.
  • Manages all supplier performance metrics using prescribed formulas to measure success and a success against their performance evaluation schedule.
  • Provides direct oversight of supplier performance on a day-to-day basis to ensure supplier provides effective and efficient sales and service, achieving optimal revenue results for the company while focusing on customer satisfaction, issue resolution, and obtainment of other key performance indicators as needed.
  • Analyzes performance trends and operational metrics in an effort to identify and articulate performance issues and improvement opportunities.
  • Works directly with supplier’s management team providing direct oversight, continuous improvement feedback, and insight into goal setting for the supplier’s front line teams.
  • Serves as a direct liaison between supplier’s management and support teams and Windstream’s internal counterparts, including training, quality, process improvement, and other teams as necessary.

Job Requirements

Minimum Requirements:  College degree and 4-6 years professional level experience with 1-3 years supervisory experience; or 8 years professional level related experience with 1-3 years supervisory experience; or an equivalent combination of education and professional level related experience required.

Strongunderstand of Service Assurance products, as well as the systems and processused to support the service assurance team and the Enterprise customerbase.  (3-5 years’ experience)
