Consultant – IT Service Inventory and Data Standardization  

About the Role:

This position will focus on end-to end standards initiatives to drive acceleration and automation opportunities for enhancements to the overall customer experience.  Partnerships across many teams within Enterprise, Kinetic and Wholesale business units will be leveraged to address areas of opportunity through people, process and/or technology that introduce data integrity or fallout issues.  Some areas of focus include manual vs automated process flows by product or process to ensure standard configurations are captured and monitoring of such product is completed in a repeatable manner.  The specific initiatives will include leading large complex process improvement programs, data analysis, and process consulting among other duties with the goal of improving company profitability through the successful implementation of standards initiatives and implementing automation.  

The ideal candidate will possess expertise in Agile/Scrum methodologies, process design best practices, strong analytical and quantitative skills with high attention to detail and proven ability to manage multiple, competing priorities simultaneously to make things happen in a fast-paced, dynamic environment. 

Role responsibilities include, but not limited to:  

  • Plans, performs, and implements process improvement initiatives (such as Lean or Six Sigma).  
  • Diagrams and evaluates existing design processes.  
  • Document cleanup steps for fallout opportunities 
  • Develops metrics that provide data for process measurement, identifying indicators for future improvement opportunities.  
  • Collects data to identify root cause of problems.  
  • Measures performance against process requirements.  
  • Aligns improvement to performance shortfalls.  
  • Provides consultation on the use of re-engineering techniques to improve process performance and product quality.  
  • May deliver presentations and training courses including measurement, analysis, improvement, and control.  
  • Surveys and analyzes best practices for techniques and processes.  
  • Communicates team progress.  
  • Performs cost and benefit analyses.  
  • Works on problems of diverse scope where analysis of data requires evaluation of identifiable factors.  
  • Demonstrates good judgment in selecting methods and techniques for obtaining solutions.  

Job Requirements

Do You Have? 

  • College degree and 5  years related experience or 8 years equivalent related  
  • SME knowledge of Wholesale, Enterprise and/or Kinetic processes and applications 
  • Strong knowledge of Transport, Data, Voice Network 
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills 
  • Excellent interpersonal skills 
  • Excellent analytical skills 
  • Excellent leadership skills 
  • Ability to take lead and manage high priority projects with minimal day-to-day instruction 
  • Ability to prioritize multiple projects 
  • High attention to detail with proven ability to manage multiple, competing priorities simultaneously and make things happen in a fast-paced, dynamic environment 
  • Strong analytical and quantitative skills; ability to use hard data and metrics to back up assumptions and opinions 
  • Proficient in ADO/Confluence/SharePoint 
  • 5  years of experience with Process, Program Management  
  • 5  years of experience with Products 
  • 5 years of experience in Technology industry
