About the Role:

The Specialist Process Transformation will partner with other Process Transformation team members and Business Unit teams to address inefficient/ineffective business processes through data acquisition/analysis, forensic investigation and root cause identification. Data and evidence gathered will be used to trial process changes and monitor results with the goal of achieving at least 50% improvement in the process area impacted.

The ideal candidate will possess expertise in Agile/Scrum methodologies, process design, strong analytical and quantitative skills with high attention to detail and ability to juggle multiple, competing priorities simultaneously to make things happen in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.

What You’ll Do:  

The Specialist Process Transformation is responsible for working with business stakeholders as well as IT resources to enhance Windstream’s business processes. The Specialist Process Transformation will be responsible for data acquisition and analysis, process documentation, and other duties as required.

  • Plans, performs and implements process improvement initiatives (such as Lean or Six Sigma).
  • Diagrams and evaluates existing processes.
  • Facilitates cross-functional project teams.
  • Develops metrics that provide data for process measurement, identifying indicators for future improvement opportunities.
  • Collects data to identify root cause of problems.
  • Measures performance against process requirements.
  • Aligns improvement to performance shortfalls.
  • Provides consultation on the use of re-engineering techniques to improve process performance and product quality.
  • May deliver presentations including measurement, analysis, improvement and control.
  • Surveys and analyzes best practices for techniques and processes.
  • Communicates team progress.
  • Performs cost and benefit analyses.
  • Works on problems of diverse scope where analysis of data requires evaluation of identifiable factors.
  • Demonstrates good judgment in selecting methods and techniques for obtaining solutions.
  • Complete tasks/project on time and within budget
  • Create, test and maintain SQL scripts

Do You Have?  

  • Experience with data analytics, MS Excel, Access, Tableau, SQL
  • Experience with Relational Databases and or Automation/BOT Experience
  • SQL: Ability to write moderate to complex queries as well as stored procedures or other functions
  • Experience managing small to med sized projects with multiple work groups
  • Motivated individual who works well with others as well as independently
  • Technically minded and strong attention to detail
  • Ability to handle and prioritize multiple tasks
  • Effective oral and written communications
  • Ability to work flexible hours when needed

Job Requirements

Minimum Requirements:  College degree in a Technical or a related field and 0-2 years professional level experience; or 4 years professional level related Technical experience; or an equivalent combination of education and professional level related Technical experience required.
