Senior Carrier Pricing Analyst - Marketing

Serves in a lead role for developing market-based pricing solutions for complex proposals to Wholesale customers while meeting Windstream financial goals.  This role will interface directly with sales, sales engineering and network planning.  This position strategically works with the Product Managers to design market-based pricing plans for all products that optimize revenue and margin attainment for Windstream Wholesale.  Performs other duties as assigned.

Position Objective

  • Develop and manage Complex pricing plans for customer ICB (Individual Case Basis) business opportunities. 

Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver market-based pricing solutions to sales in response to complex customer requests.
  • Work with Product Management to understand customer requirements and price competitively
  • Work with the Business Process and IT teams to ensure that pricing is updated in Wholesale Portals and that the Portals deliver accurate current pricing.
  • Build relationships with Access Management to ensure maintenance of accurate cost information for off-net services.  Understand the flow of cost information from OLTP to PAO to CPT and ensure that accurate pricing at desired margins is being delivered.
  • Coordinate with ICB pricing to ensure that the Pricing team is knowledgeable about current pricing and competitive trends.
  • Work with sales to address concerns about standard pricing and capture relevant competitive pricing data.
  • Manage custom pricing for select customers who load Windstream pricing into their own quoting tools.  Ensure those customers have current accurate pricing.
  • Comprehensively understand the Windstream Carrier product set, competitive landscape and financial parameters to ensure consistency and alignment with company objectives and goals

Job Requirements

Minimum Requirements: College degree and 3-5 years professional level experience with 1 year supervisory experience for supervisory roles; or 7 years professional level related experience with 1 year supervisory experience for supervisory roles; or an equivalent combination of education and professional level related experience required.Desired Qualifications: Knowledge of wireline/wireless products; market research methodologies; current and emerging technologies.
