About the Role:
We are seeking a dynamic and strategic leader to join our team as Area Sales Manager, D2D Consumer Direct Sales. In this key role, you will report to the Vice President of Consumer Direct Sales and will be responsible for developing and executing comprehensive sales strategies to ensure quota achievement on time and on budget for as many as 6 Consumer D2D Direct Sales teams consisting of up to 10 -12 reps per team. You will be assigned a specific geography to focus improved sales performance as the business continues to identify new growth opportunities.
What You’ll Do:
• Achieve sales quota goals by leading teams assigned to you in your defined territories
• Ensure alignment of the sales strategy within your local operations teams.
• Strategically, hire, train, and mentor sales managers to lead high performing teams.
• Perform territory visits for the purpose of observing daily management strategies, observing doorstep presentations and perform continuous sales interaction training.
• Communicate promotional offers, product/service updates, contractual/compensation changes, and other information to managers/agents in a timely manner.
• Provide sales support and training throughout your assigned organization
• Lead the employment engagement strategy throughout channel.
Do You Have:
• Experience leading high performing sales teams in a challenging sales environment.
• Ability to manage multiple objectives to meet sales targets.
• Experience managing to a budget and ensuring profitability of your territory.
• College degree or equivalent and 8+ years professional experience with 2-3 years supervisory experience; or 12+ years professional level equivalent related experience with 2-3 years supervisory experience; or a combination of education and related professional level experience required.
The starting compensation range for this job is $96,000 to $120,000.
