About the Role:

As a Product Manager for Kinetic, you will act as the owner for the development, management, and maintenance of products critical to Kinetic’s success. You will be responsible for identifying customer needs, market research, feature/function and service definition, vendor agreements, product roadmaps and lifecycle, and financial performance of your products. You will be expected to be as comfortable discussing the features and functionality with the sales team and end users as you are with discussing the underlying technology and systems with engineers and IT.

What You’ll Do:

  • Lead the evolution of Kinetic’s voice and collaboration services delivering products that meet the communication needs of our residential and small business customers.
  • Ability to quickly analyze market needs, research solutions, and build comprehensive requirements to promote your products’ benefits to our customers and the business.
  • Lead financial review of product performance including run rates, margins, sales rates, roadmap development impacts, and forecasts.
  • Define and provide direction into the activities and priorities for development and operational teams focused on products.
  • Oversee partner relationship standards to insure excellent customer experiences.
  • Understand the technical capabilities and feature/functionality of the products and translate for sales/customer consumption.
  • Analyze customer support issues and identifying trends leading to continual improvement in the voice and collaboration services offered by Kinetic.
  • Develop data driven models to drive product growth, prioritize development, and build and maintain product roadmaps.

Do You Have:

  • An understanding of the requirements on communications providers related to tariffs, taxes, and similar regulatory requirements.
  • In depth knowledge on POTS, VOIP, PRI, SIP Trunking, Unified Communications, and similar technologies.
  • Experience as the product manager working in agile development environments.
  • Comfort in technical and business discussions and the ability to transform the communication between both environments
  • History of handling and negotiating large business contracts with partners and vendors.
  • Bachelor’s Degree, MBA preferred, in Business, Marketing, Technology, or equivalent work experience.
  • Minimum 5 years’ experience providing product direction to high performing teams.
  • 5years’ experience in voice or IT services product management or equivalent experience in an Engineering or Sales Engineering capacity in a technology provider environment
  • Demonstrated experience building business cases and performing product performance analysis.

The starting compensation range for this job is $$89,300 to $ $117,200.
