PHP/Javascript Developer 

Description - External 

About the Role:  

• This position will be a part of the Network/Engineering Software Development team supporting Windstream Wholesale and Enterprise Business Units. In this role, you will help build custom functionality within the RCAD team’s QuickBase and our Change Management software environments, including automating manual processes, data transmission between systems, and designing custom GUIs as needed. You will support existing integrations as well as design and create new integrations based on the needs of the business.  

• Primary Location: Remote 

What you will do:  

• Responsible for the development, deployment, and support of custom code integrations within a Quickbase & Azure DevOps environment 

• Design architecture for software applications including new apps, feature enhancements, and fresh solutions/integrations between apps, middleware servers, and external web services/applications 

• Participate in stakeholder engagement, identifying and clarifying development opportunities and use cases while serving as a vocal representative of the customer(s) 

• Manage and optimize advanced technical support for software applications utilizing native Quickbase development, JavaScript, Node.js, PHP, XML/JSON web services, API integration, and SQL 

• Perform server support and administration when needed to maintain Docker containers and automation schedules 

• Understand business processes, such as billing, ticket dispatching, project management and order management 

• Lead in documentation, communication, and collaboration across Confluence, Microsoft teams, and SharePoint, as necessary 

Must Skills to Have:  

• Programming experience in JavaScript, Node.js, PHP, HTML and CSS, UNIX 

• Understanding of Docker Containers, Portainer, NGINX, and Linux Servers 

• Understanding of relational databases and database experience – SQL, Oracle, Big Data (Hadoop)  

• Experience with ADO or comparable ticketing / project management software  

• Experience with Confluence or comparable documentation platform  

• Experience with Microsoft products: Teams, SharePoint, Office  

• Familiar with Agile methodology and experience establishing project roadmaps in an agile framework and translating that roadmap into a hierarchy of issues (epics, features, stories, etc.)  

Even Better:  

• Programming experience with Deno or SvelteKit 

• Clover ETL or comparable ETL Software experience  

• API experience (REST): GET, POST, DELETE, header manipulation 

• API testing with Postman or SoapUI 

• Experience with SFTP file transfers 

• Quickbase development experience  

• Quickbase Expert certification  

• Data Analytics – Tableau, Excel, Macros (VBA), Advanced Formulas  

• Experience with workflows and event triggered automations. 

• Troubleshooting/Debugging experience: Web services (XML, JSON, error codes)

Actual base pay for this job will depend on the candidate's primary work location and other factors, such as relevant skills and experience The starting compensation range for this job is 76,000 to 84,000
