Full Time:
The Finance Leadership Development program is a full-time opportunity for highly motivated and talented individuals, with finance and accounting-related backgrounds, to develop the skills needed for a leadership role within Windstream.
Participants work alongside a series of finance and accounting teams. During each new rotation the participant is immersed in that teams’ operations and procedures. Management level mentors are assigned to each participant to provide special training, exposure to philanthropic activities, team builders and special projects.
Internships:
The Finance internship program provides an opportunity to dive into the business on day 1 by learning technical and soft skills and networking with senior management. During this real-world summer program, our interns develop both personally and professionally while enjoying our relaxed, collaborative culture. Interns come in as a group and are assigned individually to a manager. We create an intern family with an opportunity to stand out individually. Each week our interns are doing something new, networking, and learning a new skill. Interns are also considered for full time positions after completion of the summer program.

JOB SEARCH TIPS FOR SOON-TO-BE OR RECENT GRADUATES?
- Sign-up to our college network; This will allow our recruiters to contact you if you match new internships or a position suited for recent graduates.
- Always read the job description to ensure that you understand what each position entails, and what skills the hiring manager is looking for in the requirements.
- Don't forget to attach an updated resume with the skills you hold and listed in requirements. Recruiters even like to see a tailored resume for that specific job.
- Make sure you note your expected graduation date and when you are available for full-time positions (if that time frame is different). It is also helpful to list your geographic locations (cities, states) preferences.
- Networking majors – Look at jobs that are titled Spec I-ERC Data Tech, Spec I-CSMB Data Tech, Spec I-ERC Transport Tech, and Spec I-CSMB Transport Tech. Greenville SC, Charlotte NC and Fairport NY are the major hiring hubs for these tech teams.
