Are you a Strategic Marketing Executive with tenured leadership of a digital B2B integrated marketing team? Windstream Enterprise is seeking a financially astute Strategic Marketing VP who will lead the B2B digital integrated marketing team.  You should have extensive experience with Demand Generation and Strategies, Customer Acquisition and leading Account-Based Marketing strategy (ABM). Additionally, your background should include leading a Marketo driven environment, experience with 6sense and Salesforce. Reporting to the Chief Marketing Officer, and working closely with cross-functional teams, you’ll design, plan, manage, and optimize integrated digital marketing campaigns across multiple channels to generate pipeline revenue. VP, Strategic Marketing & Demand Generation  


  • Strategic leadership and day-to-day management of Windstream Enterprise integrated marketing campaign efforts to drive MQAs.
  • Leverage advanced knowledge of best practices in B2B marketing automation, demand generation, and rules-based lead nurturing to enable the team in the optimal campaign design and execution of integrated marketing teams.
  • Manage and oversee external agency relationships (brand, demand gen, campaign development, social, website)
  • Create and execute an integrated mix of lead-nurturing and content marketing campaigns, including emails, landing pages, calls-to-action and content.
  • Ensure team's programs grow pipeline by creating, executing and leading the demand generation strategy across every stage of the buyer’s journey with clear goals, objectives, strategies and tactics.
  • Collaborate with Product Managers, Field Marketing/Events, Sales, Sales Ops, PR, and IT to formulate and execute positioning of products, messaging, sales enablement and go-to-market strategy.
  • Ensure sales and marketing alignment of priorities, adjusting as required by changing market conditions, customer insights and/or emerging opportunities.
  • Develop and lead Windstream Enterprise overall marketing automation strategy and build best-in-class marketing automation. Including a standard and documented process and templates, ensuring sales and marketing enablement on Marketo as well track results and related KPI’s.
  • Measure and report on effectiveness of marketing campaigns, with the purpose of improving resource allocation, efficiency and revenue generation.
  • Manage and optimize the end-to-end lead-to-revenue tracking across all marketing tactics
  • Maintain brand standards and ensure compliance across all marketing and communications channels
  • Collaborate with the creative services team and the content team and provide best-practice guidance to implement and execute campaigns utilizing Marketo marketing automation platform.
  • Guide and enhance the marketing automation platform to optimize segmentation, campaign execution, lead scoring and nurturing; introduce and promote digital best practices such as testing, segmentation, life-cycle campaigns, dynamic content delivery, etc.

Job Requirements


  • 14 years’ senior performance driven B2B integrated marketing within Managed Services Provider industry or Software based industry (essential)
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing or related field (Advanced Degree is preferred)
  • Ability to lead strategic and day-to-day management of Windstream’s integrated marketing team to drive MQA’s
  • Have previously built, lead and mentored a marketing team
  • Exhibit high emotional intelligence and growth mindset
  • Experience leveraging advanced knowledge of best practices in B2B marketing automation, demand generation, customer acquisition and conversion optimization to enable execution of integrated marketing team
  • Must possess experience with a variety of marketing and Sales enablement technologies such as Marketo, 6sense and SalesForce
  • Required understanding of financial modeling/measures, the ability to partner across multiple groups, and to effectively communicate objectives and changes to team members and executives.
  • Ability to make sense of complex data and translate that data into meaningful analysis as well as the ability to report, interpret, and summarize results.
  • Lead team and/or peers in researching customer behavior, pricing results and competitive data in support of results, pricing and strategy.
