About the Role:

The Senior Product Manager is an experienced, proven thought leader in enterprise Cloud Interconnection, WAN, and data transport product strategy.  In this position you are responsible for growing and managing Windstream Enterprise data transport products, including wavelength, ethernet, and cloud interconnection services, as well as ongoing management of various legacy data transport products.  The Senior Product Manager is responsible for the planning and execution of the overall product lifecycle and serves as both a business liaison and a technical product expert driving results by leading cross-functional teams to achieve financial objectives.

What You’ll Do:

  • Further enable enterprise customers to connect to Cloud Service Providers through Windstream.
  •  Support all aspects of the product life-cycle management (P&L, development roadmap, pricing, customer targeting, positioning, channel).

  • Gather, evaluate and prioritize customer requirements. Create the product requirements document and business case to help the product developer bring new products and features to market.

  • Contribute ideas and make recommendations for products, processes and system improvements. Ensure supporting processes and systems are current and optimized. Work to create a cash system/process for the product.

  • Collaborate with sales on specific customer needs related to products. 
  • Prepare and deliver product presentations, technology sales training and SME assistance.
  • Engage reporting groups to develop analytical reports and/or pricing tools for the product.
  • Develop forecasting models and track financial performance, analyze funnel, revenue, churn, margin and product operational performance metrics and design, propose and execute methods to improve product execution.
  • Analyze and report customer satisfaction results and drive initiatives to increase NPS.

Do You Have?

  • 5 or more years of data communications product management experience in a carrier environment.
  • Strong technical/business knowledge of cloud interconnection, Layer 2 Ethernet, Layer 3 VPN, internet, and wavelength services.
  • Bachelor’s degree required; MBA preferred.
  • 2-3 years of supervisory experience preferred.
