Position Overview:

Product management of Windstream’s Enterprise Access portfolio with accountability for driving product growth and other related performance targets including product roadmap, profitability, customer satisfaction, and availability. Setting the business plan for product growth, owning achievement of key product performance metrics, and managing execution of the business plan across the marketing mix (i.e. Product, Pricing, Placement, and Promotion). Will be company’s subject matter expert on the topic, helping answer and resolve and channel sales, operations and customer questions and issues. Performs role as an individual contributor, but at times may provide work direction to and work with peers and stakeholders as well as assist with specific cross functional projects supporting higher layer enterprise products as needed.


  • Balance strategic long-term direction with the need for immediate impact and results and drive enterprise to performance targets for enterprise access.
  • Classic product management background, using formal process to build product business plans, manage multiple development activities to achieve key performance metrics, and drive business growth objectives across a broad organization,
  • Strong financial background, with experience building business cases and evaluating financial results, able to set market rates and drive internal organization to cost targets necessary to compete and optimize on margin
  • Solid presentation skills, with ability to promote products with key internal and external stakeholders (sales, SE, customers).
  • Proven leadership skills. Champions ideas and projects across a matrixed organization, managing through influence to drive team members from across the company towards common objective of growing sales revenue in their channel and region,
  • Must be a self-starter and able to work independently with an entrepreneurial spirit. Must demonstrate the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, high-growth environment,
  • Strong partnering skills with access management, procurement, sales engineering, aligned function groups to create results.
  • Ability to manage virtual teams with members from other organizations including engineering, IT, finance, sales, product marketing, and marketing communications,
  • Up to 30% travel with position. 

Job Requirements



  • Direct experience in product management of data services or Sales Engineering or market focused engineering roles within service provider environment
  • 7 years of progressive experience in product management, including 4 years’ experience in telecom or IT services product management is highly desired.


  • Bachelor’s degree.
