Job Summary:

We are looking for a highly motivated and talented individual with experience working on open source as well as commercial software systems. In this role you will be creating new products and services as well as enhancing systems and services to run on next generation platforms. As a key member of the team you will be contributing to multiple projects taking them through all phases of the life cycle from concept and design phase to testing and implementation. 

Job Description:

  • Minimum 5 years’ experience with Linux administration
  • Minimum 3 years’ experience with DNS administration
  • Minimum 3 years’ experience with Opensource Software
  • Minimum 3 years’ experience with Database administration
  • DevOps mentality and experience with automation technologies such as Ansible, Puppet, Salt, Maven, and Git.
  • Experience with Python, PHP, Perl, or Java.
  • API development experience with technologies such as SOAP, REST, JSON, XML, and orchestration tools.
  • Experience with DNS applications such as BIND, AnswerX, Nominum, VitalQIP, or Infoblox
  • Experience with LDAP, Radius, Tacacs, SSO, SAML, and Multifactor authentication.
  • Experience with Databases such as MySQL, Druid, InfluxDB, and NoSQL DBs (Cassandra).
  • Experience with Big Data applications such as Kafka, NiFi, Spark, Superset, Hive, Zookeeper, and Hadoop.
  • Virtualization and cloud technologies such as OpenStack, VMware, KVM, and AWS.
  • Familiarity with Microservices, dynamic management, and container technologies (such as Docker, Kubernetes, and Rancher).
  • Familiarity with Modem and Set top box ACS management systems
  • Proficient in data center networking, BGP routing, and IPv4/6
  • Participation in the Open Source community is a plus.
  • Knowledgeable of telecommunications and Service provider industry
  • Familiar with Agile, Scrum, and Jira.
  • A10, Cisco, A10, Fortinet, Citrix, network device management experience
  • SNMP, IPFIX (Netflow), Telemetry and SLA monitoring of the network
  • PCI audit and compliance experience
  • Self-starter with can do attitude
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Strong oral and written communication skills

Job Requirements

Education and Experience:
  • Bachelor’s degree in ComputerScience/Engineering (or related field) or a minimum of 7 years ofIT/Engineering experience
