Job Description

The Product Management Senior Analyst will be responsible for providing ongoing support to the small business product management, marketing and sales teams. This position will work closely internal groups to identify gaps, needs and create and strategy to meet them.

Position Objective

  • Oversee all stand along and bundled billing code creation requests for the small business products. 
  • Supply all small business related billing codes to various groups to enable proper product sales reporting, compensation payments, etc.
  • Maximize revenue opportunities for the small business product team.
  • Support product team with competitive analysis.
  • Assist in development supporting financial models, business cases and marketing plans.
  • Vendor management.

Key Responsibilities

  • Management of all billing code requests and determining priorities.
  • Creation of all billing codes for small business products. Will ensure timely delivery of codes through collaboration with various work groups.
  • Testing of all billing codes once they have been approved.
  • Define and ensure proper revenue allocation and product mapping for all billing codes
  • Responsible for SMB regulatory fee and surcharge management. Will need to address any questions for issues related to fees and surcharges and implement any increases or standardizations.
  • Must interface with a number of internal groups such as tax, IT, accounting, legal, regulatory, billing, sales, channel support, training and care.
  • Prepare internal communications for product additions and changes and work with training and channel support to ensure the field adoption of those changes.
  • Prepare customer facing communications such as bill messages when needed and work with internal groups for distribution.
  • Responsible for working with the product team on development of new product ideas to insert into product mix.
  • Manage ongoing relationship with directory assistance vendor.
  • Run ad-hoc reports as needed for analysis on small business products and services.

Desired experience/knowledge/skills

  • Knowledge of Windstream products and processes preferred
  • CAMS, DCRIS, Business Objects, BMR and ART tool knowledge desired
  • Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Access and other Office Suite programs
  • Excellent interpersonal, communication (written & verbal), facilitation, and presentation skills
  • Project management

Job Requirements

Education and Experience:

College degree and 3-5 years professional level experience with 1+ year supervisory experience for supervisory roles; or 7+ years professional level related experience with 1+ year supervisory experience for supervisory roles; or an equivalent combination of education and professional level related experience required.Desired Qualifications: Knowledge of wireline/wireless products; market research methodologies; current and emerging technologies.
