Windstream is seeking an energetic and creative individual who is able to multi-task, manage projects and drive sales support initiatives for the  Enterprise Sales Organization as a Sr Consultant in the Business Sales Enablement Team.  This position includes assisting in the performance and implementation of the process improvement initiatives, evaluating existing processes and looking for areas in need of improvement.  This position also includes the coordination of activities needed to implement new processes/products, as well as, working with the regions as their liaison for Enterprise Sales Operations staff.  This position requires the ability to  effectively communicate to the Enterprise organization on completed monthly sprints, updated process and procedures.

 

Organizes, leads and facilitates/ participates on cross-functional teams. Collects data to identify root cause of problems. Measures performance against process requirements. May deliver presentations and training in support of projects managed by the team, perform analysis on effectiveness, improvement and control. Provide communication on team/project progress.

 
Qualifications 
  • Experience in a sales, sales support or operational role preferred
  • Understanding of WinForce, iCare, CAMS or ISG processes
  • Prior project management experience a plus
  • Team player
  • Works with all levels and business lines within the company to implement projects or processes
  • Critical thinker. Excellent analytical and problem solving skills
  • Ability to multi task
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Fluent in Microsoft Office products, (Excel, Word, Visio, Power Point, Access, etc)
  • Mandatory: Access or SQL, data governance or data management, Sales Operation, 4 year degree
  • Optional: Six Sigma, independent, problem solving   

  • Duties & Responsibilities
  • Attend meetings, manage project activities, provide project status
  • Work with Sales and sales support teams and provide recommendations for improving/developing processes and process flows
  • Assist with projects assigned to the team
  • Attain a thorough understanding of the processes used by the Sales and Sales Support team
  • Field ad hoc requests for data from management, sales, sales support or operations teams
  • Create presentations, project tracker and provide communication with affected teams
  • Self sufficient
  • Implement new processes/procedures and support new product implementation
  • Become a subject matter expert for the team
  • Working with field trainers on regional process/procedures 

Job Requirements

Desired Qualifications: College degree and 8+ years professional level experience with 3-4 years supervisory experience; or 12+ years professional level related experience with 3-4 years supervisory experience; or an equivalent combination of education and professional level related experience desired.
