    The Sr. Business Manager is responsible for providing sales leadership with guidance on strategy and resource deployment based on business analytics. The role will serve as a strategic partner to Regional Sales leaders, working with them to understand the business drivers impacting channel performance revenue growth triggers. In addition, the Sr. Business Manager will also be required to work cross functionally to ensure the sales strategy is deployed and inspected. This individual must have a demonstrated ability to break down barriers and influence decisions based on facts and a logical thought process.

    The Sr. Business Manager is responsible for leading best practices in sales process, sales analysis, and metrics leveraging for multiple sales regions. Engages with multiple sales leaders to identify data and analytical needs and translate those into best in class reports and dashboards, driving standardization and scalability across organizations whenever possible. This role will enhance sales productivity by identifying opportunities to streamline processes that impact sales. Represents sales’ processes and interests across the company, working with colleagues to improve sales effectiveness. The role will act as the “Right Hand” of the Regional Sales leaders in running the business.

    Key Responsibilities:

    -Understand and support business needs by delivering sales management with decision oriented information and reports such as activity, results, and pipeline reporting, quota and attainment. Owns overall accountability for the quality and quantity of the metrics delivered on an as needed and scheduled basis.

    -Drive weekly sales forecast and pipeline reviews and analysis with multiple regional sales leaders by providing insights and recommendations based around key operational data.

    -Prepares data and slides for ops reviews, QBRs and other executive meetings.

    -Serves as an internal advocate and liaison between the regional sales organization and other functions (i.e. pricing, proposals, service delivery, etc.) to ensure the needs of the sales team are met.

    -Works across multiple functions (Finance, HR, IT, Product, Marketing, etc.) to influence programs that drive increased sales and revenue -Ensure that the sales process is widely understood by the sales team members and managers and aligned to the customer buying process.

    -Leads efforts to drive process and discipline into the improvement and adoption of Provide focused training on common data entry, dashboards, reports, interpretation of results, to reinforce use and understanding.

    -Manage the use of to provide increased efficiency to team members and clear visibility for management into all business areas.

    -Leads sales process improvement opportunities and drives project plans to implement changes. May fill a dual role of Project Manager/Business Analyst on large impact projects.

Job Requirements

Minimum Requirements:
College degree and 8 years professional level experience with 3-4 years supervisory experience; or 12 years professional level related experience with 3-4 years supervisory experience; or an equivalent combination of education and professional level related experience desired.
