Senior Security Analyst

 

This position will serve as a key member of the Corporate Security team for a Fortune 500 company.  The successful candidate will draft enterprise wide security policies designed to maintain a safe work environment for employees and visitors, while protecting company assets and interests.  The candidate should be able to display an in-depth knowledge of tested security best practices, and to offer detailed insight about new technologies for improving departmental response.  Excellent communications skills are a must as the candidate will act as a resource on security issues for internal and external customers, as well as Windstream’s Security Operation Center.

 
Principle Duties:
  • Drafts enterprise level security policy that addresses business needs for internal stakeholders while addressing identified risks.
  • Acts as the client contact for third party security vendors to ensure high levels of service are consistently provided and that all departmental policies and practices are followed.
  • Researches emerging security technologies and makes recommendations as to the implementation of needed systems.
  • Develops contingency plans and security responses for corporate events and business needs
  • Demonstrates up-to-date knowledge of physical security practices related to external compliance regulations such as PCI DSS, NIST and SOC I
  • Completes risk assessments to identify security vulnerabilities and makes recommendations to remediate known threats.
  • Conducts ongoing reviews and audits of the existing security service contract for compliance, appropriate deployment, and accurate billing.

Job Requirements

Minimum Requirements:

  • 5+ years professional experience in security, military or law enforcement
  • Demonstrated experience drafting security policy and procedures
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office platforms (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
  • Bachelor degree in law enforcement, criminal justice, security or loss prevention. Other degree types will be considered if security management capability is demonstrated
