General Summary:

The Project Coordination Manager will manage a team of 7-12 Project Coordinators, who manage orders for customers of the Enterprise Business Unit that include purchased/leased equipment, hosted services and/or data/voice products. This team will consist of Project Coordinators who own the customer relationship throughout the installation experience and will be required to partner with Sales, Marketing, Service Delivery Operations, and third-party partners to ensure we exceed expectations.

The position requires the ability to problem solve, exercise sound judgment and make the correct decisions in real time, under pressure. Provide consistent, effective and ethical leadership. Excellent analytical skills. Ability to prioritize projects. Requires excellent verbal and written communication skills. Ability to interact professionally with a diverse group, internal executives, Sales, other managers, subject matter expert, and most importantly with Carrier customers.

Job Responsibilities:

•Monitor, coach, and mentor professional performance and development of staff.

•Manage team’s workload through multiple sources including assigning orders/ projects and monitor the successful completion of each.

•Accountable for team’s performance and results including SLA’s / timelines and customer satisfaction.

•Ensuring problems, gaps and errors are identified and corrected quickly and effectively.

•Direct involvement in driving specific issues to resolution when necessary.

•Participate in and initiate process and quality improvement actions. 

•Understand WINDSTREAM business groups (functions, resources and processes) to ensure the PC team is engaging appropriate groups on each issue. Ensure team members have knowledge of WINDSTREAM business groups, roles and processes.

•Ensure that supervised staff has adequate system access, training, tools and process documentation to perform job functions.

•Manage the development, measurement, motivation and cooperation of staff.

•Build and maintain strong relationships with and provide open communication to internal WINDSTREAM departments/business groups, customers and vendors to ensure goals are met.

Additional responsibilities include but are not limited to:

•Conducting staff meetings

•Setting performance expectations, producing performance evaluations and conducting performance reviews

•Responsible for all personnel management related to task, hiring, coaching, developing and termination

•Leading by example and demonstrating support for organizational and corporate policies, and standards

•Other duties as assigned

Job Requirements

Minimum Requirements:College degree and 5-7 years professional level experience with 2-3 years supervisory experience; or 9 years professional level related experience with 2-3 years supervisory experience; or an equivalent combination of education and professional level related experience required.
