Data Architect III - Dispatch

Build, optimize and maintain predictive analysis and data visualization dashboards and reports using relevant design and optimization tools.  Must know how to analyze system requirements and implement migration and retrieval methods for existing data.  Hands-on experience with SQL and Oracle is required. Ideally, familiar with conceptual and logical database models for our key OSS system(s).  Ultimately, develop data driven solutions to identify, monitor, and report on key field operations performance indicators.



Responsibilities

  • Design and develop database solutions to store and retrieve company information
  • Analyze data requirements for new analysis and applications
  • Migrate data from legacy systems to new solutions
  • Design conceptual and logical data models and flowcharts
  • Improve system performance by conducting tests, troubleshooting and integrating new elements
  • Coordinate with the IT Infrastructure and other Business Intelligence teams to identify future needs and requirements
  • Create new ways to consume and visualize large amounts of technician data, including GPS and dispatched tasks
  • Work with Field Ops to develop dashboards related to dispatch efficiency


Requirements

  • Proven work experience as a Data Architect, Data Scientist, Data Engineer, Data Analyst or similar role
  • In-depth understanding of database structure principles
  • Advanced knowledge of data mining and segmentation techniques
  • Expertise in SQL and Oracle
  • Advanced knowledge of Data Visualization
  • Proven analytical skills

Job Requirements

Minimum Requirements:

College degree in a Technical or related field and 3-5 years professional level experience with 0-1 year supervisory experience for roles with supervision; or 7 years professional level related Technical experience with 0-1 year supervisory experience for roles with supervision; or an equivalent combination of education and professional level related Technical experience required.


Desired Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or relevant field and 8 years professional level experience with 3-4 years supervisory experience for roles with supervision; or 12 years professional level related Technical experience with 3-4 years supervisory experience for roles with supervision; or an equivalent combination of education and professional level related Technical experience desired.
