The duties of this position include:

  • Processing service orders in the SIMPLE / PORT2CLEC / PORT2WLS work forces
  • Analyzing/completing APS errors
  • Analyzing/clearing trouble tickets via spark chat and WFM / Remedy
  • Pprocessing rack sheets which includes Winback orders via SOA
  • Process ORMOD / ORCAN requests
  • Process cutovers
  • Updating the various network elements including but not limited to the following:  Metaswitch (CFS), GTD5, 5ESS, DCO, EWSD, DMS100, DMS10, C15, Glenayre VM, Centigram VM, Metasphere (EAS), APAC VM, Digital Speech, Octel VM, Cognitronics AIS, Science Dynamics AIS, McIas AIS, 17A AIS, Autocron AIS, Digicept Emcee AIS, ETC Digicept AIS, Neustar SOA
  • Other duties as required

Also includes interacting with the Customer Experience Center, Facility Provisioning, Assignment, Service Center, Service Delivery, LSPAC, Field Technicians and customers to ensure customer satisfaction and to meet scheduled due dates.  This employee will utilize the following systems: CAMS, DCRIS, MIROR, Remedy, M6/DRS, Neustar SOA, Task Manager, Data Cannon and various types of network elements.  This position performs these duties in all ILEC exchanges across the corporation.

Job Requirements

Education and Experience: 

High School diploma or equivalent and 4+ years experience with 3+ years directly related to the job. College hours or a college degree may be substituted for some experience as deemed appropriate.

Working knowledge of the different network elements (i.e. voicemail systems, central office switches, AIS)

Working knowledge of MIROR/DCRIS/Remedy/CAMS/ M6/DRS / SOA
