Summary:

Review and audit monthly access invoices to identify billing discrepancies. Work with both internal and external teams to dispute, provide appropriate back-up, and successfully resolve billing issues. Provide the Line Cost Auditors with support, guidance and escalation in resolving complex billing disputes and vendor account reconciliation issues. This often involves interacting with multiple external vendors and internal departments.

Responsibilities:
 
•Review available data from multiple sources (Invoices, Internal/External Inventory Data, Tariffs) to look for billing inconsistencies, rate changes, invalid volume/quantity increases, and etc.

•Identify dispute opportunities, calculate to maximum value, and file the disputes with the vendor.

•Ensure proper reporting and tracking of dispute filings and any resolution activity and communicate to the proper department and or entities.

•This individual will be relied on to help lead the business to the correct solution or solutions to multiple billing and dispute issues.

•Considers the business aspects of problems, and recognizes opportunities for building value.

•Ensure proper documentation and application of controls against risks identified by internal and third-party audit firms.

•May participate in recurring calls and other meetings with vendors with the object of obtaining resolutions favorable for the company.

•Build and maintain data-mining queries to support disputing and dispute resolutions.

•Lead cross-functional review sessions.

•Identify and implement solutions of vendor issues and escalations.

•Build internal relationships to support the filing and resolving of vendor disputes.

•Provide ad hoc dispute information to both internal and external sources.


Job Requirements

Minimum Requirements:College degree and 3-5 years professional level experience with 0-1 years supervisory experience for roles with supervision; or 7+ years professional level related experience with 0-1 years supervisory experience for roles with supervision; or an equivalent combination of education and professional level related experience required.
