About the Role:

Kinetic Business by Windstream is a leading provider of advanced network communications and technology solutions for consumers and small businesses across the U.S. Kinetic Business offers services including broadband, transport, SD WAN, dedicated internet, security solutions, voice, managed CPE, enhanced Wi Fi, and pro services to small and medium businesses over a local and long haul fiber optic network spanning approximately 125,000 miles connecting approximately 350,000 business locations. The Manager for Digital Business Sales owns the acquisition sales strategy and execution for the inside sales teams. This role oversees the inbound and outbound sales teams who target small business sales customers across our 18 state footprint.

What You'll Do:

  • Directly lead, manage, coach, develop and motivate a team of 10-25 direct reports in the small to medium size telecommunications market space.
  • Drive the business by using a data and analytics approach while researching innovative ways to diversity revenue streams in the small business space.
  • Collaborate with marketing to evolve digital marketing strategies for inbound sales while developing campaigns for outbound sales efforts to maximize sales efforts.
  • Manage relationship with 3rdparty overflow vendor.
  • Work with the sales operations team to design and implement sales forecasting plans for the sales team to meet and exceed goals on a weekly, monthly, quarterly, and annual basis and design and implement sales plans to attain these targets.
  • Evaluate and implement updates to the sales compensation plans annually as well as implement strong sales incentives and work with the Human Resource Department to plan and evaluate criteria.
  • Partner and build relationships with cross functional teams across the organization to streamline communication and drive results.
  • Manage ecommerce sales and program.
  • Manage headcount, hire, train and effectively onboard a stellar sales team.
  • Prevent, manage, and own team attrition, own the responsibility for all sales team HR escalations and performance improvement plans as well as set annual goals and measure achievement metrics for sales team members.

Qualifications:

  • Knowledge of CX one, Snowflake and Invoca, a plus.
  • Demonstrated experience in building and motivating sales teams, analyzing sales trends, growing pipeline, and monitoring performance to hit revenue targets.
  • Demonstrated experience as a team building leader, capable of rallying support from both direct and indirect staff to drive shared positive results.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills. (Bilingual is a plus!)
  • Expert knowledge in various solution selling methodologies and best practices.
  • College degree and 3+ years professional level experience with 1-2 years supervisory experience or 5+ years professional level related experience with 1-2 years supervisory experience or an equivalent combination of education and professional level related experience required. 3+ years of experience in SMB Telcom or Tech arena with a proven track record of success in inside sales in a call center environment with sales agents operating in a centralized or decentralized environment.
  • 2 years of experience managing sales teams and providing sales leadership to teams in the Telcom or tech industry.
  • 1-3 years of current IVR and call center technology platforms used to conduct business.

College degree and 4-6 years professional level experience with 1-3 years supervisory experience; or 8+ years professional level related experience with 1-3 years supervisory experience; or an equivalent combination of education and professional level related experience required.
