Engineer II – Transport Engineering is responsible for designing and developing moderately complex Network equipment installation, modifications, and upgrades. The candidate will be responsible for tasks associated with special circuit orders and will support various product offerings and bandwidth. This position will work on problems of complex scope where analysis of situations or data requires a review of a variety of factors and will work closely with Transport Planners, Field Operations, and Windstream contractors on orders requiring network to support the ordered product. Must have an Engineering Bachelor’s of Science degree (Electrical, Computer, Computer Science, preferred).
Minimum Requirements:
Bachelors of Science degree in Engineering and 0-2 years of professional level experience; or 4 years of professional level related Engineering/Technical experience; or an equivalent combination of education and professional level related Engineering/Technical experience; or applicable Military experience may substitute as deemed appropriate.
