Overview:

This role is responsible for leading digital marketing efforts targeting small and midsize businesses to achieve superior customer engagement and intimacy, website traffic and high-quality leads that drive demand generation by strategically exploiting all aspects of the digital marketing planning, development and implementation. Digital marketing efforts include search engine optimization (SEO), search engine marketing (SEM), social media, digital / social media advertising and website strategy/roadmap and content. This person will be an integral part of a high-performing marketing team working with and managing third party vendors applying best practices, testing results and performance analysis to generate demand.

Roles/Responsibilities:

SEM/SEO/Display duties include: 

  • Develop branded and unbranded paid search campaigns, including keyword research, ad copy, targeting, reporting, media budgets and regular program optimization, in support of business unit revenue and demand generation objectives.
  • Develop display campaigns for both brand awareness and lead generation efforts, managing budgets, targeting and optimizations.
  • Manage digital agencies to drive an increase in clicks, calls/leads and overall revenue while balancing expense.
  • Develop and implement SEO strategy to drive an increase in search ranking, increase organic website traffic and organic leads while working with subject matter content experts.
  • Keep up to date on the latest trends and concepts in SEO and SEM, as well as changes to Google/other search engine algorithm changes and ensure that content is updated for continued search performance.

Social Media duties include:

  • Develop a robust social media strategy that reaches the target customers and increases brand awareness, builds thought leadership, promotes key business initiatives, and assists in increasing website traffic and leads.
  • Develop and manage a series of content working with product, marketing and care experts to increase social media channel audience and engagement as well as to manage the social media platform for improved sharing.
  • Develop and manage social care strategy, increase online reputation, including working with Care to monitor social media sites for Kinetic Business mentions, escalating customer care issues.

Website duties include:

  • Develop a strategic plan for continuous improvement of the website for increased engagement and conversion to high-quality leads.
  • Work with webmaster and IT to implement the changes to the website as outlined in the strategic plan as well as to implement the necessary updates required to support product launches, service enhancements and/or improved content and/or creative.
  • Work closely with IT to develop a strategic roadmap for an optimized digital omnichannel strategy that support the revenue objectives established.      

Job Requirements

Minimum Qualifications:

College degree and 8 years professional level experience with 3-4 years supervisory experience; or 12 years professional level related experience with 3-4 years supervisory experience; or an equivalent combination of education and professional level related experience desired.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Expertise in demand generation strategies and execution focused on best practices
  • Experience in messaging and testing for optimized results
  • Experience with Google Analytics
  • Experience working with Kentico
  • A high-level understanding of Marketo integration with the website
  • Experience working with senior level business owners in defining reporting and data requirements
  • Experience in vendor management
  • Experience in matrix management of a cross-functional team of contributors
  • Independent worker with strong initiative and results-oriented
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Power Point, and Outlook)
  • B2B marketing experience, preferably in the telecom or technology industries
  • Flexible travel requirements up to 15%
