Job Responsibilities:

Administer Health and Welfare benefits using a combination of in house and vendor resources with a primary ownership of wellbeing plans including wellness vendor, internal champion network, biometric screenings, weight management, condition management, and employee assistance program. Develop and coordinate needed communication including internal social media site, external website, email, blogs, videos, and mailings.

Review and analyze managed vendor contracts and invoices.

Manage needed file feeds between the company and vendors.

Manage service levels to ensure vendor partners consistently meet expectations.

Manage needed regulatory, legal and compliance notices.

Work directly with employees on escalated issues and special circumstances.

Manage assigned components of annual enrollment.

Remain current with regulatory, legal, and bargaining unit changes.  Update benefits as needed.

  • Vendor selection, management, and partnership
  • Problem solving
  • Customer service orientation
  • Sensitivity to confidentiality in working with health information
  • Excel, database and query skills
  • Benefits Experience and/or wellbeing program management experience
  • PeopleSoft and/or Payroll Experience preferred

Bachelors Degree or equivalent experience 

Job Requirements

Minimum Requirements:  College degree and 3-5 years professional level experience with 1 year supervisory experience for supervisory roles; or 7 years professional level related experience with 1 year supervisory experience for supervisory roles; or an equivalent combination of education and professional level related experience required.
