General Summary:

The Social Media Specialist (SMS) will be the primary coordinator of sales activities via social media for the assigned reps in the internal consumer direct channel. The SMS will insure the social media accounts of the individual reps is fresh, up to date, contains corp approved content and appears to be active during business hours. The SMS will work with the individual reps and marketing to build, boost, and monitor sales and localized content. The SMS will work with the Consultant – Field Operations to coordinate in market activities (network investment opportunities, upcoming sponsorships and events, consumer awareness campaigns), ensure digital content matches our localized marketing investment, and helps to build the Kinetic Brand as well as promote the local sales rep as the Brand Ambassador for Kinetic in their assigned markets.

The SMS will have a working knowledge of Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, and other social media platforms emerging which may give Kinetic and the Kinetic Rep the market edge in adding new customers to the network. The SMS will oversee and implement an aggressive email campaign strategy through programs like MailChimp to reach out to customers of the individual reps for quality assurance and referral purposes.  The SMS will also analyze and make suggestions on how to best optimize our local presence from a social media perspective.

Job Responsibilities:

Your time will be broken down as follows:

Manage, update, monitor the social media accounts of field reps in the assigned markets

Coordinate and curate localized content from the Consultant – Field Operations and the local market rep to build brand awareness and establish the local rep as the primary brand ambassador in the assigned market area.

In coordination with the Manger of Consumer Direct Sales, design, implement, and coordinate a continual email campaign for new customers to ensure quality assurance and obtaining referral opportunities. Additionally, implementing an email strategy to reach out to customers that have cancelled orders to attempt to save the order.

Job Requirements

Minimum Requirements:

College degree and 0-3 years professional level experience; or 5 years professional level related experience; or an equivalent combination of education and professional level related experience required.
