General Summary:

The Project Coordinator II will be responsible for providing outstanding customer service with comprehensive understanding of our products and processes. The PC II will also be responsible for the tracking, scheduling and coordinating of all aspects of a new customer order, as well as move orders for customers getting new facilities. The PC II will be responsible for planning and scheduling each customer through whole life cycle of network and equipment implementation process. The PC II will be relied upon for answering general knowledge questions with regard to project implementation.  The PC II should be familiar with and build bridges with other internal groups.  The PC II is expected to be able to work well independently or with a group.

Essential Job Functions:

  • Plans and manages all aspects of implementation.
  • Ensures clean scope of work, provides realistic project approach and timeline to internal / external stakeholders.
  • Works with appropriate departments and staff to coordinate the activity of every job through each stage of order. 
  • Continuously monitors progress of job, including tasks, and investigates any deviations from schedule. Keeps all appropriate personnel apprised of status of job, shifts in priorities, existing or perceived problems; deviations from schedule.
  • Identify, suggest and implement corrective actions to improve quality of project management process.
  • Be able to manage multiple projects simultaneously. 

Job Function Expectations:

  • Ability to coordinate with customer, designated IT personnel, and internal groups for product implementation
  • Ability to coordinate with internal and external groups for multi-site projects, maintain project workbook and any additional calls needed for same
  • Ability to coordinate with internal and external groups for successful delivery of T1 and Ethernet network facilities
  • Ability to coordinate with internal and external personnel with regard to networking/failover solutions as sold and described for the project

Job Requirements

Minimum Requirements:High School diploma or equivalent and 6 years experience with 4 years directly related to the job. College hours or a college degree may be substituted for some experience as deemed appropriate.
