About the Role:



This Network Analyst I-NOC position is an entry level role within the NOC Change Management Team. The Change Management team is responsible for all maintenance notifications to customers throughout our footprint, which spans almost all parts of the country.  What You’ll Do:




  • Read complex network designs

  • Associate customers to maintenance events and provide notification to them

  • Work with internal customers to help coordinate maintenance events

  • Responsible for all notification to customers surrounding maintenance events, including cancellations and reschedules

  • Track documentation



Do You Have?




  • A self-starter mindset and the ability to use own judgment/initiative to undertake activities with minimal supervision

  • Strong organizational skills

  • Ability to use and understand MetaSolv databases/designs

  • Superb written and verbal communication skills

  • Ability and desire to multitask




  • High standards of work ethic including punctuality, professionalism, and attitude

  • Ability to work independently and as part of a goal oriented team

  • Detail orientation and ability to follow procedures

  • Capability to take ownership of tasks

  • Analytical mindset



Even Better:




  • 1 + year experience with one or more of the following: optical networks, TDM networks, field experience or support center experience

  • Ability to type >40 WPM



Job Requirements

Minimum Requirements:

Associate's Degree in a technical discipline and 3-4 years technical/telephony experience with 3 years directly related to the job; or 6 years of directly related telephony or network operations experience and/or an equivalent combination of education and directly related experience required.
