Network Analyst II-DNOC

About the Role:

Windstream’s Data Network Operations Team is vital to the business, and this Network Analyst II will be responsible for providing operational support for Windstream’s service provider data network. The network consists of Juniper, Alcatel-Lucent and Cisco routers and switches.

What You’ll Do:

  • Perform work in shifts within a 24x7 Network Operations Center environment
  • Provide operational support for Windstream’s service provider data network, consisting of Juniper, Alcatel-Lucent and Cisco routers and switches

Do You Have?

  • Networking knowledge with Juniper, Alcatel-Lucent and Cisco routers and switches.
  • Knowledge of data networking concepts and technologies such as routing protocols, TCP/IP, PPP, and Ethernet
  • Good communication skills
  • Ability to work assigned schedules and extended hours including day, evening, weekend, and holiday hours
  • Ability to respond to after hour callouts

Job Requirements

Minimum Requirements:

Associate Degree in a technical discpline and 4-6 years technical/telephony experience with 4 years directly related to the job; or 7 years of directly related telephony or network operations experience and/or an equivalent combination of education and directly related experience required.
