About this Role:

As a Manager of Paid Media Strategy, you will play a pivotal role in designing and implementing effective paid media strategies to drive business growth and maximize ROI. Your expertise in paid advertising platforms, data analysis, and marketing trends will be crucial in achieving Windstream Kinetic’s marketing objectives. This role requires a deep understanding of digital advertising platforms, social media channels, and performance marketing techniques. You will work closely with cross-functional teams, including media channel leads, leadership, strategic marketing teams, creative, and analytics, to define and execute a cohesive paid media strategy.  This position is remote and may sit anywhere in the U.S.

What You’ll Do:

  • Work with the Kinetic in-house media team to develop and implement paid media and social media strategies aligned with overall marketing objectives.
  • Responsible for paid media campaign intake and setting a cohesive strategy across all media teams.
  • Collaborate with the media channel leads, marketing ops, marketing strategy and business intelligence teams to build and deliver a cohesive media campaign strategy.
  • Main media point-of-contact for strategic marketing team to provide recommendations based on project goals.
  • Ensure channel learnings are scaled across all campaigns and channels- audience approaches, creative, messaging, and audiences.
  • Track budget changes and allocations across channels informed by attribution/incrementality results,
  • Compile campaign wrap-ups and summarizes learnings, working with channel leads, BI, creative, and marketing leadership.
  • Identify target audiences and create audience segmentation strategies for effective targeting and personalization.
  • Conduct competitive analysis and stay updated on industry trends to optimize campaigns and drive innovation.
  • Define campaign goals, KPIs, and budgets, and monitor performance metrics to ensure campaigns meet objectives and drive ROI.
  • Utilize analytics tools to track campaign performance, measure KPIs, and generate insights for continuous optimization.
  • Identify opportunities for A/B testing, experimentation, and new targeting strategies to improve campaign results.
Actual base pay for this job will depend on the candidate's primary work location and other factors, such as relevant skills and experience.

Qualifications

Do You Have: •        Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Advertising, Business, or a related field. •        Proven experience (7 years) in managing paid media campaigns and digital media strategy, agency experience a plus. •        In-depth knowledge of digital advertising platforms, including Google Ads, Facebook Ads Manager, and programmatic advertising platforms. •        Strong understanding of social media platforms (e.g., Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, LinkedIn, YouTube) and social media management tools. •        Proficiency in web analytics tools (e.g., Google Analytics) and data-driven decision-making. •        Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data and provide actionable insights. •        Solid project management and multitasking abilities, with a focus on meeting deadlines and achieving objectives. •        Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams. Desired Qualifications: College degree and 10 years professional level experience with 3-5 years supervisory experience; or 14 years professional level related experience with 3-5 years supervisory experience; or an equivalent combination of education and professional level related experience desired.
