IT Consultant - The Salesforce QA Tester will work within a team of Salesforce Developers, Salesforce Admins, Configuration Managers, and various organizational units. This position will be responsible for managing, assigning test plans and performing testing for all technical aspects of Salesforce including Service Cloud, Sales Cloud, Vlocity and 360.



Key Duties & Responsibilities




  • Perform various types of application testing such as manual, regression and performance testing using our testing tools through comprehensive test scenarios

  • Stand up tool for automated testing

  • Develop test cases in ADO to ensure that software meets development, usability and functional requirements

  • Document testing results, open bugs if needed and coordinate retesting

  • Maintain ADO Dashboards to ensure all requirements, tests and defects are up to date regarding specific application needs

  • Create a Project Test Plan and conduct a Test Plan walkthrough for project team and/or stakeholders

  • Attend Project/Team meetings and contribute feedback based on testing results and status on project deliverables



Skills Required




  • Minimum 1 year of Test Automation using, using various testing tools

  • Experience utilizing ADO

  • Proven record writing detailed test cases and communicating with various organizations (developers, admins, product owners and business consultants)

  • Proficiency with creating, organizing & executing test case scenarios

  • Experience testing Salesforce User Interfaces (out of the box and customized)

The Information Technology Business Consultant is responsible for the following: provides support for client applications and serves as a liaison for the development, implementation, and maintenance of existing, new, or enhanced systems; manages multiple large or regional projects, products, and clients by tracking resources, prioritizing projects, and providing guidance to personnel as needed; creates test plans and conducts testing for applications software changes, updates and/or new releases; evaluates and documents the performance of tested software and the quality testing process to provide feedback to project team and management for current and future reference; performs other duties as assigned.
