Windstream Kinetic Wholesale has an immediate need for a Director interested in working alongside fellow Kinetic employees in building a foundation for our customers’ success. We do this by acting as Pathfinders, pursuing a daily dedication to the following behaviors:

•    Sales Engineer leadership responsibility over Solutions Architect team who provide customer facing, trusted advisor technical sales support.


Primary Responsibilities
•    Manage and strategically lead a team of Wholesale focused  sales engineers supporting fiber, broadband and tower sales.
•    Supports SE teams & Sales to ensure revenue & profitability goals are met.
•    Works with product group to communicate required enhancements based on feedback from customers.
•    Ensure SE team is aware of latest Kinetic standard network deployment strategies while maintaining close alignment with Kinetic engineering and construction.
•    Travel to meet large customers and new customers where technical expertise is required to support the sales team.
•    Attend trade shows to support sales teams in their meetings
•    Coaches and motivates employees effectively – Offers candid feedback on job performance and openly acknowledges successes with the entire team.
•    Works well with internal functional groups to drive success.
•    Communicates effectively with the SEteam.  Holds relevant and productive meetings.
•    Maintains budgeted headcount to achieve required productivity
•    Trains new employees effectively to ensure future success.
•    Continually builds knowledge & skills to technically sell across full spectrum of the wholesale business.

Job Requirements

Desired Qualifications:

College degree and 10 years professional level experience with 3-5 years supervisory experience; or 14 years professional level related experience with 3-5 years supervisory experience; or an equivalent combination of education and professional level related experience desired.
