The successful candidate will collaborate with Enterprise Project Support leadership to define, develop, and deliver software applications and tools which improve productivity and streamline operations across the Enterprise Repair organization. The candidate will be responsible for defining requirements and managing the software product life cycle for each project including the acceptance testing and release process. The position will require the individual to design, implement and support any run-time environment requirements necessary to support the software applications to be developed by the individual.

Primary Responsibilities:

Create business applications to support the operations of the Enterprise Repair organization:

1. Collaborate with Enterprise Repair leadership to define opportunities for productivity improvements and subsequently define the requirements for custom application solutions

2. Develop software applications to support the enterprise repair organizations including dashboard tools, knowledge base tools and automate processes.

3. Develop software applications and reports to assist in the management of business operations and metrics

4. Develop customer facing portal applications to access customer related business information and reports

5. Develop custom reports in response to specific internal operational business needs

6. Ensure that the software solutions adhere to data architecture standards and strategies and follow software development best practices

7. Communicate project requirements and plans to the development team and other stakeholders.


Minimum Qualifications:

  • College degree in a Technical or a related field and 1-3 year’s professional level experience; or 4+ years professional level related technical experience; or an equivalent combination of education and professional level related technical experience required.

  • Proficient in the following languages: PHP, JQuery, Bootstrap, XML, JSON, SOAP/RESTful, HTML and SQL


Preferred Qualifications:


  • BS in Computer Science/related Engineering degree or equivalent business experience preferred.

  • Minimum of 3-5 years’ experience in Software development

  • Software development knowledge with Oracle SQL, MySQL and Python

  • A current understanding of the methods and practices associated with the software development life cycle processes.

  • A current understanding of the methods and practices associated with Business Process Improvement (BPI) approach.

  • Demonstrated interpersonal and strong communication skills with emphasis on the capability to work with customers

  • Demonstrated ability to work alone or with a group with limited supervision.

Job Requirements

The Client/Server Developer/Analyst II is responsible for the following: designs elements of the business logic for the client/server application (e.g., simple GUI object specifications, complex business process specifications); designs and develops graphical user interfaces (GUIs) and screens (e.g., develops screen application templates, designs windows, dialogues, menus and toolbars for complex processes and workflows); assists in designing the database structure (e.g., modifies a schema, tests changes, recommends standards and procedures); develops and executes test plans and designs test data for software enhancements and changes; researches and stays current on client/server related issues and technologies; performs other duties as assigned.
