About the Role:
As an account manager, you will work in a team environment with minimal supervision, managing multiple projects to yield positive results. We're looking for a positive and productive team member to join our established sales organization.
What You’ll Do:
Develop and grow business relationships within the global accounts base selling to high-end customers in the Financial, HealthCare, Media and Content, Financial Services spaces. You will hunt and find new logos.
Understand Windstream's network and facility capabilities.
Prepare contracts and service orders for customer presentation
Maintain knowledge regarding competitor product offerings and pricing.
Stay abreast of telecommunications industry challenges.
Interface with the largest and most complex wholesale accounts.
Do You Have?
• Experience in Enterprise space with strong relationships that can be leveraged
• CLEC experience required. (Waves & Dark Fiber)
• Experience selling to high-end customer segments in the Enterprise space - Financial/HealthCare/Media and Content/FinServ
• Hunter mentality with a strong sense of urgency
• Basic computer programs, including Microsoft Outlook, PowerPoint and Visio, to diagram customer network solutions
• Strong customer service orientation
• Demonstrate above average verbal and written communication skills
• Travel required for customer or industry meetings
• Ability to identify, engage, and close new logo opportunities

Actual base pay for this job will depend on the candidate's primary work location and other factors, such as relevant skills and experience.College degree and 10 years professional experience with 5 years directly related to the Global Enterprise space.
